Total U.S. cold-rolled sheet exports in April 2022 totaled 63,621 tonnes, down 3.6% from March but up 24.4% from April 2021, according to U.S. Department of Commerce export data. In value terms, CRC exports totaled $74.4 million in April, compared with $82.1 million the previous month and $54.8 million in the same month last year.
CRC Exports To Mexico
The US shipped the most cold rolled coil to Mexico in April at 44,689 t, compared to 44,288 t in March and 38,882 t in April 2021. Other major destinations included Canada with 16,747 tonnes. There were no other significant destinations (1,000 metric tons or more) for US cold rolled coil exports in April.
