The main polishing method of stainless pipe
There are three commonly used polishing methods for stainless steel pipes: mechanical polishing, chemical polishing and electrochemical polishing, each with its own advantages and disadvantages.
1. Mechanical polishing of stainless steel tube.
The advantage is that the parts processed by the stainless steel tube have good levelness and high brightness. Its disadvantages are high labor intensity, serious pollution, messy stainless steel pipe parts cannot be processed, their luster cannot be combined, and the stainless steel pipe luster lasts for a short time, causing rust. Mechanical polishing is suitable for processing simple, small and medium products.
2. Chemical polishing of stainless pipes.
The advantages of chemical throwing are less investment in processing equipment, throwing away messy parts, fast speed, high efficiency, and good corrosion resistance. The disadvantages of chemical casting are poor brightness, gas overflow, need for ventilation equipment, and difficulty in heating. Chemical polishing is suitable for processing small batches of messy parts and products that do not require high brightness of small parts.
3. Electrochemical polishing of stainless steel tubes
Electrochemical polishing has the advantages of long specular gloss, stable process, less pollution, low cost and good corrosion resistance. The disadvantages of electrochemical polishing are high pollution resistance, large one-time investment in auxiliary electrodes for processing equipment, tools and messy parts, and cooling equipment is required for mass production. Non-electrochemical polishing is suitable for large-scale production, mainly used for products, export products and public service products, with stable processing technology and simple operation.
