The United States makes the first anti-dumping sunset review final ruling on stainless sheet and strip
On July 6, 2022, the U.S. Department of Commerce issued an announcement stating that it made the first anti-dumping fast sunset review final ruling on stainless steel sheet and stainless strip imported from China, ruling that if the anti-dumping duties in this case are cancelled, It will lead to the continuation or reoccurrence of the dumping of the products involved in China with a dumping margin of 76.64%.
On March 3, 2016, in response to an application filed by AK Steel Corporation, Allegheny Ludlum, LLC (ATI Flat Rolled Products), North American Stainless and Outokumpu Stainless USA, LLC on February 12, 2016, the U.S. Department of Commerce issued a launched anti-dumping and countervailing investigations on stainless steel sheet and strip.
On February 2, 2017, the U.S. Department of Commerce announced an affirmative final anti-dumping and anti-subsidy ruling on stainless steel plates and strips imported from China. On March 1, 2022, the U.S. Department of Commerce initiated the first anti-dumping and countervailing sunset review investigation into stainless sheet and stainless strip imported from China.
