Aperam invests in Brazilian steel mill
Aperam plans to invest a further 588 million reais ($121.9 million) in its Timoteo steel mill in the state of Minas Gerais by 2024, following last year’s investment of 243 million reais ($50.2 million) in Brazil ).
The company said the investment will be used to improve the mill’s hot-rolling line technology and increase production at the Aperam Bioenergia steelworks.
It is reported that the investment will allow the plant to produce stainless steel products of different sizes and higher quality to meet customer demand, but the total crude steel production capacity will not increase, with an annual output of 900,000 tons.
Stainless Steel Market can provide stainless steel products in china.
